Jill Tetrick, DDS

Meet Dr. Jill Tetrick
“I hope to assist my patients in creating healthy oral habits that will help maintain a good quality of life. I approach dental work conservatively, with a focus on prevention. I hope to make dentistry and dentists approachable, and to give my patients the best experience in a calming environment for a lifetime of healthy, happy smiles.” – Dr. Tetrick
Dr. Jill Tetrick is excited to be carrying on her father’s tradition of providing excellent dentistry to the Bellingham community. She attended Scripps College in Claremont, California for her undergraduate degree, majoring in German studies and neuroscience. Dr. Tetrick earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, and then went on to do a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington.
Every year, Dr. Tetrick attends courses in endodontics and restorative dentistry to stay current with the newest technology in the field. By using cutting-edge techniques and materials, her patients receive the best possible quality of care that is backed by the latest research. Dr. Tetrick is an active member of the Washington State Dental Association, Mount Baker District Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the Oral Health Coalition.
Dr. Tetrick is also passionate about access to care and expanding oral health education. She believes that with increasing prevention in the community, dental decay can be greatly reduced for high-risk families. To help increase awareness and provide care to those in need, Dr. Jill Tetrick also works Saturdays at the children's clinic at Sea Mar Community Health Center.
Dr. Tetrick moved back to Bellingham after her schooling and is excited to be home and to be serving her community. She is very close with her mother and with her father, who has served as a role model for her entire life, and continues to do so at the office.
Dr. Tetrick’s boyfriend, Sam, is pursuing a career in teaching and currently attends Woodring College of Education at Western. Their dog, Ricky, is a charismatic Boston terrier who loves going on hikes in the beautiful outdoors that surrounds Bellingham, from Mount Baker to the San Juan Islands.
